A successful horse show represents months of planning, countless volunteer hours, dedicated exhibitors, and memorable achievements. Professional horse show photography provides more than keepsakes for competitors. It creates valuable content that can be used to promote future events, recognize sponsors, celebrate achievements, and showcase the growth of your organization.
Whether you're hosting a local schooling show or a multi-day competition, my goal is to help tell the story of your event while providing exhibitors with access to professional images they can enjoy for years to come.
Coverage Details
Every horse show is unique, and I will always do my best to provide professional, reliable coverage that showcases both the competition and the memorable moments that make each event special.
As an independent photographer, coverage is provided by a single person. For events with multiple rings operating simultaneously, coverage will be focused on one ring at a time while making every effort to photograph a variety of exhibitors, divisions, and special moments throughout the day.
Horse show galleries are typically delivered within 10–14 days following the event and organized for easy viewing and purchasing. Competitors can purchase digital downloads and professional print products directly through their online gallery.
In addition to providing competitors with lasting memories, select images may be made available for promotional use to help showcase your event on social media, websites, and future advertising materials.
Throughout the process, you can expect clear communication before, during, and after your event to ensure coverage aligns with your show's needs.
What I Will Need
To provide the best possible coverage of your event, I ask that show management provide:
• Event dates, schedules, and class lists prior to the show
• Information regarding any special classes, ceremonies, presentations, or awards that should receive priority coverage
• Permission to photograph on the show grounds and around competition arenas
• A designated point of contact for questions before and during the event
• Advance notice of any restrictions regarding photography locations, arena access, or facility policies
• Any required vendor credentials, exhibitor passes, or access permissions necessary to perform photography services
Vendor, facility, or event-required access fees are expected to be covered by the event organizer. For events located more than 50 miles from Zip Code 32536, a travel fee may apply.
