Some horses come into our lives as everything, Others arrive as a season that changes everything.
Horses have a way of becoming part of who we are. Some are with us for decades, shaping our lives one ride, one lesson, and one quiet barn moment at a time. Others leave a mark in a shorter season that we carry with us long after they are gone.
Horse & Rider sessions are created to document the relationship you have built together, from the quiet trust between you on the ground to the confidence you share in the saddle. Whether your horse is a longtime partner, a new beginning, or a chapter worth remembering, your session is designed around what makes your partnership yours.
Sessions take place at your farm or a location that holds meaning to you. Using the soft glow of sunrise or sunset, we create images that feel natural, personal, and true to the bond you share. Don't forget about your well-loved barn dogs. They are always welcome to be added to the session too!
Before your session, you’ll receive a preparation guide with tips for preparing your horse, choosing outfits, and planning the details that will help your images feel like you. After your session, you’ll receive a sneak peek of your favorites while your full gallery is carefully edited and prepared. Your final gallery will be delivered within approximately four weeks. Print products and high-resolution (print) downloads available for purchase separately.

Reach Out

Step 2
Book Your Session
Once we’ve chosen the right session, you’ll secure your date with a retainer. Sessions are booked at least 2 weeks in advance to allow plenty of time for thoughtful planning and preparation.
Step 3
Plan Your Session
We’ll go over location, set a date, and tailor the style so everything feels intentional and fits your vision. No guesswork: I’ll help shape the details with you.
Step 4
Session Day
This is the easy part. I’ll guide you through everything so you never have to worry about posing or what to do. Just enjoy the experience with your horse or during your session.
Step 5
Your Gallery
You’ll receive a fully edited online gallery within 2 weeks of your session where you can download, share, and order prints or wall art of your favorite images.

Payment Plans Available
A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date and secure your spot on my calendar. The retainer is applied toward your total session investment, with the remaining balance due by the date of your session.
To make planning a little easier, flexible payment plans are available upon request with bi-weekly or monthly installments.
Gift cards are also available and can be applied toward session payments, making them a thoughtful gift for the horse lover in your life.

Mini session- $100
The Mini Session Add-On includes approximately 15–20 minutes of photography and 3 hand-edited, high-resolution digital images of the additional horse and rider pair. One complimentary group portrait of participating riders is included when multiple riders are photographed during the same session. Mini Session Add-Ons are available only when booked alongside a full Horse & Rider Portrait Session.
Barn Dog -$50
Add a barn dog to your session for individual portraits of your dog along with a portrait of you and your dog together. The Barn Dog Add-On includes 2 hand-edited, high-resolution digital images. This add-on is available only when booked alongside a full Horse & Rider Portrait Session.
Horse & Rider Group Mini Photo Sessions
If you're part of a lesson program, show team, or group of friends at the same boarding barn, group horse and rider mini sessions are a great way to experience working with me and get a taste of the Horse & Rider session experience. They also make for a fun afternoon spent at the barn with your friends, helping with horses, and creating memories along the way. These sessions are $125 per rider and include a 20-minute time slot, four edited images, and the option to purchase additional images that may be captured during your timeslot. To qualify for group mini session pricing, a minimum of four riders must book and all sessions must take place at the same barn or location.
